Name: Divina Gracia C. Ortiz
Age: 41 years old
School: Muñoz North Central School
Position: Kindergarten Teacher
Length in Service: 14 years
·         Why did you enter the teaching profession?
I choose to enter in this profession because I really love children and I enjoy imparting what I have to them. Also, to be practical, it’s because this is a life time career. As long as there are schools in the community, there is a need for  teachers.
·         How did you prepare for your teaching profession?
Since it is my own choice to be a teacher and to enter on this profession, I didn’t find any difficulties when I start working but before I enter and pass my application letter on the first school principal that I worked in, I made it clear to myself first that I should have a very long patience and an open mind because it is not only the students that we should deal with, we should also know how to deal with their parents, with the other teachers, other school personnel and even the community members. As I enter on this career, I always act and moves like a role model so that I will win the peoples respect and heart, respect are given to those people who look respected and know how to respect others.  It is not an easy job to be on this career especially when your heart doesn’t really belong to this.
